Hello everyone.
Yesterday I acquired the Arena Gladiator helmet from the Cyrodiil dailies, excited as I was for this great looking helmet that was teased I ran to the outfit station to adjust my outfit accordingly for it.
Alas, it is here where I discovered an issue/bug/oversight on the item.
The hat as it stands only has 2 dye slots, instead it the standard 3. One for the metal base of the helmet itself, a second for the two straps at the back of the helmet. Which means that the mane/plum that makes this helmet so beautiful cannot be dyed. Leaving it an oddish brown/orange
So my report or request depending on how its implanted originally. Is to add a third dye slot for the mane. An important feature I think for a helmet that alot of people will grind for simply for that sole visual.
Surely you'll agree?

Definitely an issue that needs fixing, makes no sense to have it not be dyeable. Need my horsehair plume to be red.

Seeing it makes me kinda pumped. Looks great.
Good call on the dye issue, though. Having the crest dyeable would kick this helm up to the next level.

Thanks for the feedback thus far guys, lets keep it coming!
It is indeed a shame, and hopefully nothing but an oversight to be fixed. It would be an irritation and as it stands, is an irritation for people who grinded for it, or bought it from the Guild traders for a considerable sum. Only to find out it can't be dyed. Rendering potential outfit or dye plans useless.
I'll keep on hoping and bumping.

✭✭✭✭Order of the Hour helmet motif/style is very similar to Arena Gladiator helmet, but you can dye plume of Order of the Hour helmet.
This is an example of the helmet dyed in Akatosh's Scales Gold and Red Diamond Red:
